Relaxing Sounds

A key tool for transforming the mind is meditation. Buddhist meditation practices are techniques that encourage and develop concentration, clarity, and emotional positivity. By engaging with a particular meditation practice one learns the patterns and habits of the mind, and the practice offers a means to cultivate new, more positive ways of being.

For those that would like to deepen their meditation practice we have accommodation available for retreats up to 7 days. Sati Arama Buddhist centre follows a schedule which includes nine hours of meditation daily and you will be able to meet with Yasala Bhante each day to discuss the progress of your meditation practice.
